Access Bank, in conjunction with VISA, will reward customers with an all-expenses-paid trip to this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The duo of former Super Eagles stars Victor Ikpeba and Ogaenyi Onazi were the stars of the 5-a-side football competition which delighted Lagos State customers and football fans held at the Lekki’s Upbeat Center.

Access Bank Deputy Managing Director Victor Etuokwu, who kicked off the game ceremonially, lamented the Nigeria Super Eagles’ absences from the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Etuokwu, while stressing the importance of the competition titled “Road to Qatar 2022”, said the event is in line with what Access Bank believes in rewarding transactions with the bank using VISA.

“So this football season and this year being a World Cup year, we’re trying to bring people together using sport and getting them to exercise first, stay fit and then get better. engage in economic activity that would benefit them.” So it’s labeled ‘Road to Qatar’ because Access Bank in conjunction with VISA is setting this up for staff and also using it to tell all Nigerians that VISA and Access Bank want to reward people for transacting with VISA.

“Beyond going to Qatar or qualifying for a draw or benefits and incentives, it is important to be fit. And we also want Nigerians to be aware of digital transactions.

“So whether we are there or not, it will still be worth attending and watching. However, Nigeria will miss the World Cup and hopefully we will be there for the next four years.
