Arewa Consultation Youth Movement (ACYM) has protested against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) threat to impose a visa ban on Nigerians for entrapped funds from foreign airlines including Emirates Airline.

The group, in a statement by its chairman, Kabiru Yusuf, said on Friday that it was unfair for the UAE to threaten to impose a visa ban on Nigerians, when the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is already looking into On the question.

“This despite the fact that the CBN released $110 million to foreign airlines in August and is expected to release another $120 million on October 31.

“We are of the view that the threat of a visa ban for the UAE is unfair. We have therefore called on the authorities of the United Arab Emirates to reverse the decision and allow peace to reign,” the group said. young people.
