A new electronic multiple-entry visa is being introduced in Bahrain, the country’s Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) announced this week.

The visa will be granted for training purposes and is valid for six months, according to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA). It allows its holder to stay in the Kingdom for the same period.

The visa is part of 24 initiatives to improve the NPRA service, led by the Crown Prince of Bahrain, Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. It also complies with the guidelines of the Minister General of Interior, Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to provide high quality services.

The NPRA said the visa could be extended for six months. Interested persons can apply via for a fee of BD60.

The visa can be issued for a trainer or a trainee in the public and private sectors.

Applicants must attach a letter from the relevant body with details of the training and a copy of a passport valid for more than six months, in addition to other information to be filled in forms on the site.
