Global marketing consultancy R3 has bolstered its senior leadership with new hires across its APAC, EMEA and US offices. R3 has hired Ben Jankowski (pictured left), who will join the agency’s media practice in New York. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Media and Sponsorships at Mastercard, and is credited with a long career spanning APAC, China and North America. According to his LinkedIn, he also served as Global Account Manager at OMD New York, before moving to OMD APAC as Global Account Manager from January 2010 to October 2010.
“Having someone with the caliber and experience of Jankowski is just a rare opportunity for us to think and act globally with breadth and depth,” explained Greg Paull, co-founder and director of R3.
Constance Pincus (pictured center) joins Jankowski at the New York office. Having previously worked with brands such as Johnson & Johnson and in the specialist areas of immunology and oncology, R3 explained that she has an extensive career in pharmaceutical marketing. Prior to her appointment, Pincus was a freelancer at Agency Relations Consultant, where she served clients in agency selection, benchmarking, contract and pricing negations, performance evaluation, talent building. and strong partnerships with agencies. “Pincus is one of those rare finance and procurement leaders who has a rich understanding of creative, marketing and business challenges. We are thrilled to work with her again,” said Paull.
Additionally, R3 has also hired Andrew Lambert (pictured second from right), who is currently based in London. With over twenty years of experience in global financial marketing, Lambert most recently assumed the role of Senior Director of Global Brand Marketing at Visa. According to his LinkedIn, he started at Visa as Director, Advertising and Promotion, APAC, before slowly rising through the ranks to Director, Brand Management, Sponsorship and Marketing Services; Chief Marketing Officer, Southeast Asia to Senior Director, Global Brand Marketing for over three years. “Lambert has been an incredible client partner for us for so many years. It’s just a pleasure to have him on our team in Europe,” said Paull.
All of these hires come shortly after Priya Jean Alexander was appointed in March as a senior consultant in Singapore. Alexander, a well-known professional in the media agency world, will help R3 as it plans to double its media and finance advisory team in the past 12 months. Alexander was previously Managing Director of PHD Singapore. She brings with her 16 years of experience in sales and marketing strategy and at R3. His agency experience spans three networks and multiple brands, including Procter & Gamble and Singapore Tourism Board.
Meanwhile, R3 recently acquired ad intelligence platform Adbrands.net (Adbrands) in June, marking R3’s continued investment in marketing landscape analysis and client-agency partnership monitoring.
“We have always admired the depth of work that has gone into Adbrands and welcome 24 years of data and insights into the work we do,” Paull said then. “Our ambition for Adbrands is to enrich its current information library with expert analysis and make it the marketing knowledge resource for marketers and sourcing professionals,” he said. added.
Under R3 management, Adbrands currently continues to operate a freemium model, with premium data and analytics available to customers and subscribers. R3 updates company profiles that examine business records, geographic strength and comparative performance of portfolio companies and key agencies. Profiles include strengths, weaknesses, history, breaking news, and key financial information. In addition, R3 also maintains the Account Assignment Database, which tracks new contracts won worldwide.
